Principal Financial Group announced Natalie Lamarque will become its new general counsel and corporate secretary effective August 1.
Lamarque has previously served as senior vice president and general counsel for New York Life Insurance, where she also has led its insurance and agency, investments, corporate practice, and tax teams. She also previously served as an assistant US attorney in the Southern District of New York and in the litigation department of Debevoise & Plimpton.

The independent oil and natural gas producer announced it has appointed Jonathan Curth as its executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Prior to joining W&T, Curth most recently served as executive vice president, general counsel, compliance officer and corporate secretary for Vine Energy (now Chesapeake Energy Corp.). His prior experience also includes serving as interim president & CEO, general counsel, chief compliance officer, corporate secretary and executive vice president of land at Vanguard Natural Resources (now Grizzly Energy).

The theme park company announced it has appointed Aimee Williams-Ramey as chief legal officer and corporate secretary.
Williams-Ramey most recently served as senior vice president and general counsel at Sabre Corporation, a leading technology provider to the global travel industry. From 2013 to 2016, Williams-Ramey served as a regulator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where she was the regional chief counsel for the West region of the U.S.
Williams-Ramey was previously in private practice with several high-profile law firms, where she handled a diverse range of complex legal and regulatory matters, including commercial litigation, securities litigation and enforcement actions, investigations, and corporate governance matters.
OneSpan
The digital agreements security company announced it has named Lara Mataac as general counsel and chief compliance officer.
Mataac most recently served as general counsel at Constant Contact, where she led the legal and compliance team during a period of transformation after the company’s spinout from Endurance International Group (EIG). Prior to Constant Contact, Mataac spent eight years at EIG, most recently as deputy general counsel.

The Wisconsin-based health insurer announced it has named Mike Lappin the organization’s chief legal and strategy officer effective July 1.
Lappin most recently worked at Foley & Lardner as an attorney practicing in their health care and transactions practice groups. He also previously served as chief legal officer and chief administrative officer at Aurora Health Care, among other roles.
