Agiloft, the no-code contract lifecycle management (CLM) software company, announced Thursday Laura Richardson has been named its general counsel.
Richardson previously served as general counsel at Osso VR and held several different in-house positions at Intel, including handling legal work for its data platforms group and design engineering group.
She is also a Charter Member of TechGC, a community platform for general counsel of leading venture capital funds and high-growth technology companies.

Denver Broncos
The pro football team announced it has named Tim Aragon its general counsel.
He joins the Broncos after spending the last 18 years with the global law firm of Hogan Lovells in its Denver office. Most recently, Aragon was managing partner of the firm’s Denver office and served on Hogan Lovells' Americas-region leadership team.
His background includes corporate transactions, compliance, governance and working with sports franchises across the NFL, NBA, MLS and MLB.
“A highly respected attorney with deep sports experience, Tim is a Denver native and lifelong Broncos fan who is a distinguished leader in this community,” said Greg Penner, the owner and CEO of the Broncos. “His strategic counsel, depth of knowledge and business acumen will be a great asset to our organization."
University of Iowa
The public research institution announced James Jorgensen will be its new vice president for legal affairs and general counsel.
Jorgensen, who is scheduled to start Sept. 30, most recently served as senior counsel at Husch Blackwell in Denver.
Before joining Husch Blackwell in 2021, Jorgensen was chief of staff and chief legal counsel at Pitzer College in California. He previously served as associate counsel and deputy general counsel at the University of Iowa from 2006 to 2018.

S&T Bancorp
The holding company for S&T Bank announced that Rachel Smydo will become general counsel on August 22.
Most recently, Smydo held the role of deputy general counsel at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh.
Previously, Smydo was senior counsel for The PNC Financial Services Group, and she began her career at Reed Smith as a corporate and securities associate.

The Orlando-based healthcare solutions provider announced it has named Ryan O’Quinn president and chief legal officer.
For the past five years, O’Quinn has worked closely with Loyal Source as its outside counsel and advisor. He is a former partner at DLA Piper.
