United Talent Agency announced that it has appointed Stefanie Liquori, who has previous GC experience, the global agency’s general counsel.
Liquori most recently served for 20 months in the dual role of CEO and general counsel of DSG Entertainment Services, the former holding company of Deluxe Entertainment. Her time as GC-CEO capped a 15-year career at Deluxe, a period in which she spearheaded complex strategic and commercial transactions while overseeing all work of the legal department regarding capital raising, intellectual property, litigation, compliance and employment matters.
Liquori also previously served as in-house counsel for Panavision, and she was a corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher & Flom in New York City.
"Stefanie is an exceptional corporate executive and her appointment as general counsel brings extensive legal and transactional expertise in the entertainment and media space to UTA,” said Andrew Thau, UTA’s COO.
Marshall University
The public research institution in West Virginia announced it has appointed Toney Stroud as general counsel effective June 20.
Stroud most recently served as assistant vice president at Encova Insurance, where he has been an attorney since 2013. In that post, he manages outside counsel in 28 states related to litigation, contracts, administrative regulatory matters and insurance coverage issues.
Stroud has also served on Marshall’s Board of Governors since 2018 and will resign from the board to accept the general counsel role.
“Toney’s deep experience, knowledge of the West Virginia legal environment and familiarity with policymakers at the state and national level, combined with his history of servant leadership in our community, placed him above the other candidates in a competitive national search,” Marshall University President Brad Smith said. “As a first-generation college student himself, he also has a sincere passion for higher education and the impact it can have on a person’s life. ServiceTitan
The software platform that powers trade businesses announced it has hired Olive Huang as general counsel and secretary of the board.
Huang brings 15 years of legal experience to her new role, including most recently serving as general counsel at Nutanix. Huang also worked at SanDisk as legal counsel overseeing SEC reporting and M&A, and she represented technology companies at Latham & Watkins.

Dedrone
The smart aerospace security company announced it has named Daniel Anixt its general counsel.
Anixt has nearly 20 years of experience providing legal counsel and issue management across the telecommunications and logistics industries. Most recently, he served as the associate general counsel and then deputy general counsel for China Telecom Americas (CTA), overseeing a team that handled CTA’s transactions, regulatory matters, and commercial disputes throughout the U.S., Canada, and Central and South America.
He has also held positions that include assistant general counsel at Verizon; US legal counsel, vice president at Mitel US Holdings, and corporate secretary at Mitel; and general counsel for Right Sourcing Solutions.
“His extensive understanding of critical contract negotiations with governments and commercial entities will ensure that Dedrone continues to effectively grow alongside the drone economy,” said Dedrone CEO Aaditya (AD) Devarakonda.
Intrepid Potash
The diversified mineral company based in Colorado announced it has appointed Christina Sheehan as its general counsel and corporate secretary.
Sheehan most recently served as Intrepid’s deputy general counsel. Prior to joining Intrepid, she was a partner at the Modrall, Sperling, Roehl, Harris & Sisk law firm, where she practiced from September 2009 to November 2021. Sheehan specialized in environmental and regulatory law.
