The Aerospace Corp. announced it has selected Glenn McKeown as the company’s new senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.
McKeown previously served as general counsel at Argonne National Laboratory, a Department of Energy laboratory operated by the University of Chicago.
Prior to that, he worked as associate general counsel at the University of Chicago for 15 years and supported the university’s role as manager and operator of two national laboratories.
“Glenn’s extensive experience with national laboratories and research organizations, along with his broad legal background, make him an excellent fit for Aerospace,” said Steven Isakowitz, Aerospace’s president and CEO.
Bitly
The link shortening and management platform announced the appointment of Kelly Zitzmann as general counsel.
Zitzmann comes to Bitly with 25 years in general counsel roles, including 17 years at Axiom Law.
She most recently served as chief legal officer at smartly.io, the advertising automation platform.
“She is tasked with ensuring Bitly is positioned for success while putting in motion new or improved processes for compliance and protection,” the company said in its press release.
Dutchie
The cannabis technology platform announced that John Kelleher has been named general counsel.
Previously, Kelleher served for ten years as the general counsel for HubSpot, and eight years as general counsel for Endeca Technologies.

Coalfire
The global cybersecurity company announced the hiring of Aparna Dasai Williams as general counsel.
Williams brings extensive corporate legal experience to the team after 20 years in cybersecurity at Axent Technologies, Symantec, and Imperva.
Most recently, she built the legal function from the ground up at ecommerce shipping platform Shippo.
"I'm pleased to get back to my cybersecurity roots with Coalfire, and to reinforce the company's legal foundation for future growth organically and by acquisition," Williams said.
Interac
The Canadian interbank network announced Conni Gibson joined the organization as chief legal officer and corporate secretary.
Gibson came to Interac from the Bank of Montreal where she was vice-president and chief legal officer of technology and operations and corporate areas.
Prior to this role, Gibson was vice-president and chief compliance officer for Bank of Montreal’s personal and commercial banking division.
“Conni’s extensive experience and knowledge in technology and operations as well as commercial banking will be an asset to Interac as we prioritize technology delivery and investment into our commercial focus,” an Interac press release said.
