Pramata, a contract management solution provider, announced that Foster Sayers has joined the company as general counsel and chief evangelist.
Sayers was previously corporate counsel for Vertafore, where he led the transformation of the company’s contract lifecycle approach through the use of Pramata.
Sayers was also co-founder, CEO and general counsel for 121Nexus, a company with QR code technology solutions that he co-invented for the pharmaceutical and biomedical industries.

Hut 8 Mining
The Toronto-based digital asset mining company announced it has named Aniss Amdiss the company's chief legal officer effective July 11.
Prior to joining Hut 8, Amdiss served as vice president of legal, general counsel, and corporate secretary at Greenbrook TMS, a TSX and Nasdaq listed healthcare services company. Amdiss has experience in securities laws matters, leading acquisitions and other corporate transactions, and advising on best practices with respect to corporate governance matters.

Gale Healthcare Solutions
The technology-enabled healthcare services and payments platform announced it has appointed Robyn Rusignuolo as chief legal officer.
Rusignuolo has held legal and leadership roles in the HR technology and healthcare industries during her career.
She spent 9 years with Modern Business Associates, a national HR outsourcing and payroll provider, where she served as chief legal officer and chief operating officer. Most recently, Rusignuolo co-founded and built SoleVenture, a technology platform that delivers automated HR and compliance support to freelancers.

Arcellx
The biotechnology company announced the appointment of Maryam Abdul-Kareem as general counsel.
Abdul-Kareem joins Arcellx from Kinnate Biopharma, where she served as deputy general counsel and was responsible for legal and corporate compliance matters.
Previously, she worked at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals over a seven-year period in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as assistant general counsel, corporate.

University of Northern Colorado
The public university announced it has named Jacquie Rich Fredericks its next vice president, general counsel and secretary to the Board of Trustees effective August 15.
Fredericks has worked for the Colorado Department of Law (DOL) for the past 11 years, most recently as first assistant attorney general of the DOL’s higher education unit. For more than five years, she served as general counsel to Western Colorado University as well as the Division of Private Occupational Schools.
“Jacquie’s experience with the Colorado Department of Law’s Higher Education Unit makes this a seamless transition for her to step into this critical role at UNC,” University of Northern Colorado President Andy Feinstein said in a statement. “She is very familiar with the higher education landscape in the state and the types of issues that arise within any institution.”
