Etsy, the operator of online marketplaces, announced that Colin Stretch will join the company as chief legal officer and corporate secretary, effective February 14.
Stretch comes to Etsy with 25 years of experience, including serving as the general counsel of Facebook (now Meta) from 2013-2019 and previously working at the social media platform as deputy general counsel.
He most recently worked as Of Counsel at Latham & Watkins and he also spent two years as a Leader-in-Residence at Columbia University Law School's Reuben Mark Initiative for Organizational Character & Leadership.
"Colin's extensive experience will be critical to Etsy's efforts to ensure we remain a safe and trusted marketplace, broaden our reach across all our brands, and advocate for microbusinesses around the world,” Etsy CEO Josh Silverman said.
TuSimple
The global autonomous driving technology company announced Evan Dunn has been promoted to general counsel.
Prior to his promotion, Dunn was TuSimple's deputy general counsel and corporate secretary. He previously served as deputy GC for Four Corners Property Trust.
He also previously worked in the corporate practice groups of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, Mintz Levin, and Perkins Coie.

Chicken Salad Chick
The restaurant group announced it has named Carol Terry its vice president and general counsel.
Terry served nearly two decades at the General Electric Company in various global roles, including as GC for GE Power's Transmission and Distribution business, GC for GE Power's Services Operations business and chief compliance officer for GE's Power Services business.
Terry has also worked in private practice and served as an adjunct professor of business law at Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business over the past nine years.

The skill-based fantasy sports operator announced Jason Barclay has joined as the company’s first chief legal officer and head of public policy.
He most recently served as the chief legal officer and executive vice president at Athletico Physical Therapy. He also previously served as legal counsel to the governors of Indiana and Illinois.
As a regulator, Barclay was the first chairman of the Indiana Athletic Commission and served on the Indiana and Illinois Racing Boards and the Illinois State Board of Education.
Additionally, PrizePicks announced that Adam Packer, the general counsel of Lottery-operator IGT Indiana and former GC to the Indiana Gaming Commission, was joining the company as the senior vice president of legal & compliance.
Douglas Elliman Realty
The residential real estate brokerage announced Deva Roberts has been promoted to executive vice president and general counsel.
Prior to joining Douglas Elliman in January 2022, Roberts was a litigator at Kasowitz Benson Torres for more than a decade.
She has represented corporations, partnerships, financial institutions, real estate companies and individuals in compliance and investigations, as well as disputes involving contracts, intellectual property and fraud in federal and state courts.
